Title: Killer whales in Antarctic Waters prefer weddell seals over other prey

Reasearchers, Robert Pitman and John Durban from Fisheries Science center in California, came to antarctica to study whales in January of 2009. They noticed that the population of seals went down. The weddell seals are 15% of the whole entire whale population .The reason for that is because whales prefer them over other prey. The killer whales would create giant waves to knock the seals off of the ice and into the water. Killer whales tavel in groups. They call the pack of whales, “Pack ice killer whales”. The whales would finally then get their prey and have a snack.
What you found most interesting about the article and why (4-6 sentences)I found it interesting that the killer whales would travel in groups to eat and hunt their prey. Killer whales are very serious about hunting. I think that its cool bcause they act very different then you would think. Well then i would think.
